Shio Takahata (高幡 志緒 Takahata Shio) is a main character and a male protagonist in Tokyo Xanadu. He is a third-year student at Morimiya High School and used to be the leader of a gang.
Background
With his large build, he is incredibly strong, as well as Morimiya High School’s number one delinquent. With a reticent personality and one-track mind, he doesn’t laze around town or start meaningless fights either. In the past, he was the leader of the famous delinquent group “BLAZE,” and was the admiration of its members. But a year has passed since the incident that gave him reason to step down as the group’s leader. After that, rumours began surfacing that the team had disseminated. But now someone is going around misrepresenting themselves as BLAZE and causing various incidents.

Appearance
Shio has lengthy yellow hair, fair skin and grey eyes. He wears the official blazer of the school but in a slight variation compared to the others. He wears a denim-shaded blue shirt along with a necklace. Shio also wears the standard trousers, fastened with a white belt and accentuated with an attached chain. This is completed with laced brown shoes for footwear.
Personality
Having previously been in a gang, Shio has a rough personality at first glance. It is later discovered that he is a respectful senior to the other pupil, particularly the underclassman, at Morimiya High School. He is often seen getting along with Mitsuki, the president of the student council—in contrast with his previous affiliation.
